MENTAL HEALTH

We at GECS offer behavioral health services for both adolescents and adults seeking help and services. Most of our staff are trauma-informed and can also provide care for community members facing language barriers using interpretive services. GECS counseling philosophy is heavily based on our foundation of family and community ties to all cultural and religious traditions and practices. Our main focus and goals in our programming and services are the educating, stabilization, and rehabilitation of our families and individuals who utilize our program and services.

GECS programs and services are structured to strengthen and support families whose sense of hope has been broken. We use a multi-faceted approach to service delivery with a strong emphasis on educating and stabilizing families to create a strong sense of self-independence. Trained and credentialed mental health counselors, social workers, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists' staff GEC’s mental health services.
